  • 1 Package Family Sized Double Stuffed Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
  • 1 Package White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1 Package Chocolate Melting Wafers

  • Melt the wafers. You can use any flavor or color. Melt using a double boiler or place in microwave safe dish and melt in :30 increments. We prefer using white chocolate or dark chocolate as opposed to the colorful ones. The colorful ones melt much thicker and in our experience don't sheet as well over what you are covering. We prefer the white or dark chocolate and then if you want to add color, use food coloring with the white melts.
  • Using two forks, dunk one of your sandwich cookies into the melted chocolate. cover completely remove with fork and tap gently on side of bowl so excess sheets off.
  • Move to silpat mat or parchment paper sprayed with baking spray.

  • For the white chocolate ones, we have a couple of adorable ideas. Once the white chocolate coating completely dries you can begin these decorations.
  • For the lights you will need assorted colors of Mini M&M's and either black or chocolate icing. I used Betty Crocker Cookie Icing.
  • Pipe the icing in a zig zag pattern from right to left to right to left. Stick the Mini M&M's vertically in the icing to create a string of lights.
  • For the snowman you will need Mini chocolate chips, Mini M&M's, chocolate cookie icing.
  • For the polar bears use blue regular size M&M's, eye candies and white chocolate chips. We cut off the top of the white chocolate chips to make them more rounded for ears. We used a small amount of white icing to adhere the details.
  • Put a dot of chocolate icing on each side for the ear muffs. Place a same colored Mini M&M on each side. Put a dot of icing for the eyes and place a mini chocolate chip on each eye. Make a mouth with the chocolate icing. Put a red or orange M&M for the nose on top of a dot of icing. There you have it.
  • For the chocolate cookies, we piped a small amount of chocolate icing for the base of a Christmas tree and then green icing in a zig zag pattern to make up the tree itself. With a toothpick we worked the icing into the crevices to fill in the tree or you can leave it in the zig zag pattern. For each layer, stop just shy of the where the previous layer ended to taper it off.
We found cute candy cane and light sprinkles and used those on some and on others just a simple gold ball on top.
