Reservations for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Now Open for DVC and WDW AP’s

Disney’s highly anticipated new out-of-this-galaxy vacation experience is now open for reservations for some Disney fans.

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is scheduled to open March 1, 2022 and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can already book their stays.

The two-day, two-night stay on the Starcruiser will be a completely immersive experience. Guests will interact with characters, train with a lightsaber and have a variety of opportunities to enhance their experience. The stay also omes with a trip to Batuu.

Starting Thursday, October 7 through Saturday, October 9th DVC and WDW AP’s can book their excursions on the Halcyon. That’s the name of the Galactic Cruiser.

Reservations open to the general public on October 28th.

Let’s answer some questions about this unique experiences. 


How Much Will it Cost?

This two-night experience comes with a hefty prie tag. Disney has shared sample standard cabin rates: For two guests per cabin, rates start at $1,209 per guest per night—so $4,809 total. Three guests in one cabin (two adults and one child) are looking at $899 per guest per night with a total of $5,299, while four guests per cabin (three adults and one child) can expect to pay $749 per guest per night and $5,999 total. Disney noted that rates vary depending on voyage departure dates, as well as the number of guests in cabins and the cabin type.

How Many Rooms Does the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Have?

The Halcyon has 100 cabins and suites with views of space, including the Standard Cabin (sleeps 4 to 5 passengers), Galaxy Class Suite (sleeps 4 passengers) and the Grand Captain Suite (sleeps 8 passengers).

What is Included?

Each vacation package includes a two-night stay in a cabin or suite. Meals with the exception of alcoholic and specialty beverages are also included. Entry into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the rest of Disney’s Hollywood Studios comes with the price. In addition, valet parking, and the opportunity for missions, activities and exclusive experiences are all included with the price.

Can Guests Dress in Costume?

Yes! In fact, while Disney says that guests are welcome to dress in clothes from earth they encourage guests to dress in their “galactic best” as they become their own unique Star Wars character. Guests can shop galaxy apparel onboard the ship, but are advised to save their finest threads for “the traditional end-of-cruise gala celebration.” There are costume guidelines and those can be found HERE!

Is There an Itinerary Onboard?

Disney has released a sample itinerary for what guests can expect after they board the ship. This includes several “story moments” where guests may have interactions of experiences to enhance their stay. Check out the sample itinerary HERE!

What to Pack?

Disney has created a packing list to help you prepare for your space excursion. But, as we mentioned above, Disney also encourages guests to dress the part so have your costumes in mind for your excusrion including the option of a dressier outfit for the “gala” experience at the end of your adventure.

Are There Details About Dining?

Yes! Disney has said that guests will sample an expertly curated menu of the most delicious dishes from across the galaxy, while engaging in unique experiences that continue your Star Wars story during your 2-night adventure on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser!

On the first night of your adventure, the Crown of Corellia Dining Room transforms for dinner into an enticing table-service supper club with a special musical appearance by a galactic superstar. You’ll enjoy a special evening with distinctive dining and entertainment as you socialize with passengers and crew.

The second night, The Taste Around the Galaxy showcases courses inspired by the geography and environments of iconic destination planets throughout the galaxy. With the serving of each course, a brief introduction presents the name, inspiration and ingredients for the dishes. The meal includes group appetizers for the table, a choice of entrée and a specialty plated dessert.

For breakfast and lunch guests can dine in the glamorous Crown of Corellia Dining Room. Guests can serve themselves colorful fare from all over the galaxy—along with familiar favorites from your home planet.

Start your day with a unique off-planet breakfast of hot and cold small plates and a variety of beverages including juices, fresh brewed coffee and Bubo Wamba Family Farms blue milk.

During lunch, choose from a collection of small bites, like sandwiches, soups, mini flatbreads, assorted salads and sweets.
