Reopening Dates Announed for More Walt Disney World Resorts

Walt Disney World has just announced that all Walt Disney World resorts will be open by the end of 2021.

Walt Disney World will begin accepting bookings on July 8, 2021 for all of the remaining resorts that have yet to open.

Here is the opening schedule for the final Walt Disney World resorts:

  • Disney’s All-Star Music Resort for arrivals beginning Sept. 16
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside for arrivals beginning Oct. 14
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter for arrivals beginning Oct. 28
  • Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort for arrivals beginning Dec. 9

Two of these resorts, All-Star Music and All-Star Sports are value resorts.

Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside are both moderate resorts.

There are five Disney Value Resorts at Walt Disney World. All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, All-Star Movies, Pop Century, and Art of Animation. Art of Animation is a Value-ish resort as it is priced higher than the other value resorts but not quite as pricey as the moderate resorts. Pop Century and Art of Animation are connected via walkway and both are on the Disney Skyliner transportation system.

There are five moderate resorts at Walt Disney World. Coronado Springs, Gran Destino Tower, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans Riverside. The two Port Orleans resorts are connected by a walkway and waterway and have boat access to Disney Springs. Coronado Springs is connected via walkway to Gran Destino Tower and Caribbean Beach resort is connected to Riviera, the newest Disney Vacation Club resort via walkway. Caribbean Beach resort is connected to the Disney Skyliner transportation system.
