On February 16, Walt Disney World released their 2022 Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages starting January 1, 2022.
Packages can be booked for arrivals up to 500 days in advance. Disney Vacation Club Resorts can be booked up to 11 months in advance for DVC home resorts and 7 months in advance for non-home resorts by DVC owners.
For non-DVC members who are looking to rent points, that can be done on the same schedule as above subject to availability of members looking to rent out their points.
Booking a 2022 package this far in advance will not guarantee that you will be able to make theme park reservations for your stay. However, theme park reservations are able to be made up to January 14, 2023 as of February 16 so we recommend booking your theme park reservations immediately following your trip being booked.
Not all Walt Disney World resorts are opened or have opening dates at this time. Several resorts are still unavailable but could reopen between now and 2022.
Disney Dining packages are unavailable and Disney has made no announcement regarding this perk returning anytime soon.
As we have previously reported, Disney will no longer offer their complimentary Disney’s Magical Express service for resort guests as of January 1, 2022. In addition to Magical Express, Disney has also discontinued their Minnie Van service.
The transportation options that remain at Walt Disney World include buses, monorails and the Disney Skyliner. The Epcot Monorail line has not reopened since the parks reopened and we are unsure, at this time, when that particular line will be back as a transportation option.
We encourage you to check out our latest Walt Disney World update for the latest on MagicBands, health and safety protocols and ticket prices.
