Baking doesn’t have to mean turning on the oven. There are so many great options that, especially festive holiday treats that are quick, easy but oh so cute.
These come together in no time and require only a few ingredients.
Let’s get started.
This is just a traditional Krispie Treats recipe. You will need 3 tablespoons of butter, a 10 ounce bag of mini marshmallows and 6 cups of krispie cereal.
In a large saucepan, melt your butter and add the entire bag of marshmallows. Once the butter and marshmallows have completely melted together, add krispie cereal.
Spray a spatula with baking spray to keep the krispie mixture from sticking. Dump the mixture into a greased 13 X 9 inch pan.
spread evenly using sprayed spatula and allow to set for ten minutes.
Get your decorations ready to create your super cute reindeer!
Here’s what you need:
- Betty Crocker Cookie Icing: Chocolate
- Candy Eyes
- Red and Brown Mini M&M’s
Once your Krispie treats have set, cut them into rectangles.
Using the chocolate icing, put two dots where the eyes will go and cover with the candy eyes.
Use another dot of chocolate icing for the nose and set the red or brown candy there.
Using the chocolate icing, pipe a line at a 45 degree angle from the eyes for the antler. Make three little v’s with the icing through the center line to create the rest of the antler.
Another idea we used for the antlers was chocolate covered mini pretzels.
That’s it! So cute! So festive and so perfect for the holidays.
