The holidays are in full swing at Walt Disney World and although the magic is a bit different this year, it is still around every corner. From the parks, to the resorts and even Disney Springs, you will find that Disney touch making the holidays extra special.

Today, let’s check out some of the holiday magic at the Walt Disney World resorts.

We feel that often the resorts get overlooked but each Walt Disney World resort is themed differently and represents that theme for the holidays. True, there are no gingerbread sculptures this year, but there is still plenty of festive cheer to take in.

Let’s check it out.

Each Walt Disney World resort has a story to tell and the holidays are a perfect time to check out and appreciate what each resort has to offer. From fancy garlands to glistening trees, even delicious holiday treats.

The Grand is looking… grand this holiday season. Even sans lifesize gingerbread house, this is a must see for every Christmas fan. The beautiful pinks and ivory set off the vibrant green in the garland’s hung from every banister. You will feel transported to another time with these grand decorations.

Take a moment to check out the little details and don’t forget to look down to find some of your favorite characters admiring the decor as well.

The Walt Disney World Christmas trees are iconic. But, did you know that some of the best trees can be found at the resorts? It’s true. Disney’s iconic Comtemporary Resort, for example, can be seen from the Monorail and is one of the most colorful trees on property.

Over al Wilderness Lodge, you will be transported right to Hallmark movie and a traditional Rocky Mountain Christmas. With all the gorgeous wood details this resort has to offer, the rustic, mountain, nature inspired holiday decor is the perfect accent. This is one of our two favorite resorts for the holidays.

If the beach is more your speed, be sure to check out Disney’s Beach Club for fun ocean inspired details to their Christmas decor.
