With crusing still shuttered in the United States and most of the world, Disney is taking some time to perform routing mantenance and regulatory class work for several ships in the fleet.
The Disney Wonder, one of Disney’s smaller ships in the fleet has been spotted headed to dry dock.
Disney has not released any information on what work is being done. We don’t expect any dramatic renovations except to begin or continue equipping the ship for return to sailing.
The Wonder, which was built in 1999 has canceled all sailings through December 15, 2020.
On September 30, just before the no sail order was to expire, the CDC extended it for all U.S. ports through October 31.
With talks ongoing and the current administration pushing for a return to cruising, we expect that an announcement is forthcoming when sailings can resume from U.S. ports.
