Disney+ finally debuted their full trailer for “WandaVision”. This is one of the first Marvel Cinematic Universe series to debut on Disney+. The trailer debuted during the Primetime Emmy Awards which aired Sunday night.
The trailer offers fans first look at “WandaVision” since the show first teaser was released during the Super Bowl back in February.
The show, described by Marvel as a “mega event series,” will be set following Avengers: Endgame.
The trailer doesn’t shed much light on how Vision, played by Paul Bettany and Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olson are together. The trailer does not indicate how Vision who was killed in Avengers: Infinity War will be brought back to life.
Disney previously announced that “WandaVision” would premiere in December 2020 but whether that timeline is still accurate is unclear as there has been no announcement from Disney if production was delayed.
Disney+’s “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” which was expected to be the platform’s first Marvel Cinematic Universe television show, was originally scheduled to release in August but has been pushed back to sometime in late 2020 if not early 2021.
In addition, Disney+ is expected to be the home of “Loki” and “Hawkeye,” shows and those are expected to premiere sometime in 2021.
The trailer shows an opening in a world straight out of a 1950s sitcom. The couple plays the traditional husband and wife role of the times. Farther into the trailer, fans get hints later that the telekinetic heroine is reworking the world around her, so could this be how Vision returns?
