Colorado Couple Living in Walt Disney's World and Beyond!

On September 8, Disney began operating with limited hours. The current hours are as follows:

  • Magic Kingdom: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Previously 9:00 am to 7:00 pm)
  • EPCOT: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (Previously 11:00 am to 9:00 pm)
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (Previously 10:00 am to 8:00 pm)
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Previously 8:00 am to 6:00 pm)

As we previously reported, Walt Disney World has canceled its annual Halloween celebration, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom and announced this week that they have also canceled the beloved Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Candelight Processional at Epcot.

On Friday, September 11, Disney World announced that they will be extending the hours for Magic Kingdom in November. The new hours are as follows:

  • November 6th – 21st: Hours extended to 7pm close (previously 6pm)

With this update, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9am to 7pm beginning November 6th. Disney also posted hours for November 22nd through November 28th. Here are the updated hours for the month of November:

  • November 1-5: 9am to 6pm
  • November 6-28: 9am to 7pm

We expected these hours to be announced since earlier this week they announced new nighttime castle projections to begin on November 6.

In addition, Disney posted an update to EPCOT’s hours as well.

Beginning November 27, EPCOT will open at noon. The park will also move to an 8pm close. The hours for November look as follows:

  • November 1-26: Park opens at 11am and closes at 7pm
  • November 27-28: Park opens at 12pm and closes at 8pm

Disney did post the hours for Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom through November 28. There are no changes to those hours.
