Disney is opening a number of additional restaurants across property in the coming weeks as they continue to enhance the guest experiencec upon reopening.
Disney World has been open since the middle of July and (knock on wood) not one positive case of coronavirus has been linked back to the company. Not one. In a state that is rampant with cases, not a single case has been contact traced back to Walt Disney World.
Disney World is continuing to expand their safety measures and precautions and work to get back to a sense of normalcy.
Disney has just announced the reopening of several additional restaurants across Walt Disney World property in the coming weeks to enhance the guest experience.
Let’s jump right in.
Cinderella’s Royal Table
According to the Walt Disney World website, beginning September 24, Guests can enjoy dining in the enchanted, fairytale setting of Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park.
Disney did announce that there would be no character interactions during this experience which for us is the only reason to go to the restaurant because the food is not that great but for guests wishing to dine in the castle, that experiene will be open soon.
Reservations will open September 11.
Disney fans Disney has announced that Gaston’s Tavern quick-service will reopen at Magic Kingdom on September 4th.
Disney has announced that ABC Commissary will reopen on October 8th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Following the opening, it will only be available for lunch to start. This is a quick service restaurant.
Hollywood and Vine
Beginning September 25, Hollywood and Vine, located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reopen to guests. In addition, according to Disney’s website, guests can enjoy dining in Hollywood & Vine for the return of Minnie’s Seasonal Dining.
While it may look a little different than the last time you visited, you can get in the spooky spirit during Minnie’s Halloween Dine with a monster feast served to your table and special appearances from Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse and their friends. It’s a boo-tastic time filled with Halloween décor and music, scary good food, and more.
It is important to note that this is one of only two dining experiences on Walt Disney World property that has any sort of character experience currently.
Reservations for this experience will be available beginning September 11.
Disney continues to alter and open experiences for guests to bring the magic back. Please remember that as of September 8 the following changes to hours at ALL Walt Disney World parks will be implemented.
- Magic Kingdom: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Previously 9:00 am to 7:00 pm)
- EPCOT: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (Previously 11:00 am to 9:00 pm)
