Official Announcement of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Cancelation Likely Imminent With Reduced Hours Continuing Through November.
Things aren’t looking good for the most wonderful time of year at the most magical place on earth. Disney has released their November park calendar and reduced hours will continue through the end of November.
According to the Walt Disney World website, Magic Kingdom will open at 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m, which is three hours earlier then it closed during the same time period in 2019. Epcot will open at 11 a.m. and close 7 p.m. Last November, Epcot was open from 9 in the morning until 9 in the evening.
These are the same hours that were recently announced to begin on September 8.
- Magic Kingdom: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Previously 9:00 am to 7:00 pm)
- EPCOT: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (Previously 11:00 am to 9:00 pm)
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (Previously 10:00 am to 8:00 pm)
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Previously 8:00 am to 6:00 pm)
As we previously reported, Walt Disney World has canceled its annual Halloween celebration, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom.
The theme park has yet to announce whether its annual Christmas celebration will occur this year. With these hours being extended through the month of November, Disney is likely planning to announce the cancelation of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We also don’t expect fireworks or parades to return to any of the parks before the beginning of 2021.
Festival of the Holidays could return in limited capacity to Epcot as the International Food and Wine Festival is currently taking place at that park. We expect most holiday activities to not return for 2020 including the projection show at Hollywood Studios and more.
Not a very merry holiday season indeed.
Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
