Two of the three attractions had been operating on a seasonal basis. Therefore, It was anticipated that they would eventually shut down for good.

All nighttime shows and parades have been temporarily postponed. Rivers of Light is the only unexpected attraction announcement to get the ax.

Disney has slowly been reopening their Florida parks and resorts to allow a very limited number of guests on property. With financial constraints following the shutdown, cuts must be made in order to manage.

None of these attractions were top Walt Disney World attractions. Rivers of Light was without fireworks for obvious reasons. Imagineers had to create a show that kept the animals safe at the park. Because of that, it was the least attended nighttime show at Walt Disney World.

A memo was sent to theme park castmembers announcing that the three shows would be closed for good. Disney has yet to release an official public statement regarding the closures.
