Participants work at either Walt Disney World or Disneyland. According to NBC News, As of 2005, 8,000 students participate each year. Particupants represent at least 301 colleges and universities. At any given time there are around 4,000 students in the DCP.

The DCP has been on hold since the Walt Disney Company theme parks closed their gates back in March.
