Disney and the NBA have reportedly come to an agreement to play the final 88 games of the NBA regular season on Disney Property.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the NBA will return to finish out the season and that season will be played at Walt Disney World. A Board of Governors vote has been scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday but according to reports, the deal is done.

Disney and ESPN are jointly owned so reports out of ESPN would be reputable.

Yahoo! Sports’ Keith Smith also reported the news and also reported that Disney’s Coronado Springs Hotel including the new addition of Disney’s Gran Destino Resort, one of the largest resorts on Walt Disney World property would host the NBA team as they finish out their season. The resort is also in close proximity to ESPN’s Wide World of Sports complex where the games would be held.

According to Smith, other Disney World properties still could also be used when needed to accommodate the NBA. The league reportedly is targeting July 31 as a date to resume play.

Thank you for stopping by and for the love of the mouse, never forget, that it all started with a mouse.
