The Mandalorian is the breakout hit taking Disney+ and the world of streaming by storm. With season one already in the books and season two not scheduled to be released until October 2020, fans are looking for all the info possible on the series and what to expect not only when it returns but for the duration of its run.
The show boasts remarkable talent both in front of and behind the camera. It’s massive popularity has evoked an entire subculture of classic Star Wars fans and fans new to the franchise thanks to Baby Yoda or The Child.
Sources close to the show have said that Disney and Lucasfilm are envisioning a five-season arc for The Mandalorian. Disney and creators have been extremely tight lipped on the show and where the show will go. So much so that for the first season, Jon Favreau convinced Disney marketing to hold off on Baby Yoda merchandise prior to the release of the show, which potentially cost the company millions in merchandise and pre-show hype so as to protect the element of surprise.
We wait with baited breath for hints on Season 2 of the show and the fate of The Child.
In the meantime, according to The Verge , Disney+ has an eight-part docuseries in the works that will give fans a behind-the-scenes look into the breakout hit.
Disney plans to debut this series on May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day with a new episode debuting every Friday following.
The show will be called Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian and will include looks at everything from the music used in the show to props and special effects including the beloved Baby Yoda (The Child).
Thank you for stopping by and for the love of the mouse, never forget, that it all started with a mouse.
