We have some exciting breaking news out of Disney this morning.

As we all know, Disney parks and resorts across the globe are currently closed and construction has been halted across the parks. This includes the extensive overhaul of Epcot in Walt Disney World which is currently undergoing a massive renovation across nearly the entire park.

One of the attractions currently being constructed is the Moana Journey of Water attraction which was announced at D23 in Anaheim in August 2019. As a part of World Nature, which will take guests on an adventure through the wonderful natural world, Moana Journey of Water will transport guests to a playful and interactive water exhibit.

A new poster, just like the ones that were released at D23 is now available on Shop Disney highlights some of the features of this brand new attraction and is available for $90.00 at a limit of one per customer and… has a little easter egg as well.

The description of the poster says, “Celebrate the new aquatic adventure at the reimagined Epcot with this limited edition print promoting the forthcoming Moana-inspired Journey of Water walkthrough maze. Featuring the goddess Te Fiti from the 2016 movie, the poster is printed on archival paper and will whet your appetite for the attraction’s 2021 opening at Walt Disney World.”

That’s right friends, Journey of Water is scheduled to open at Epcot in 2021.

This is the first time we have heard any detials regarding the opening of this attraction and we are excited to learn that despite the current halt in construction, Disney is optimistic that this amazing new experience will open to guests in 2021.

Epcot is quite the maze of “go away green” construction walls right now which, if we are honest, has detracted from the magic of the park immensely. We are so excited to see a light at the end of at least this part of the construction tunnel at Epcot.
