Disney Files Permits to Demolish and Replace Stitch’s Great Escape at Magic Kingdom

Finally, some fun and exciting news!

It appears, following a story from WDWNT this morning that permits have been filed to demolish the interior of the Stitch’s Great Escape attraction in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom.

The attraction has been rumored to be closing for several years but it appears the plan is finally in motion.


Tomorrowland has been undergoing several major changes including the addition of the TROM Lightcycle coaster which is set to open in 2021 and exterior updates to the land as well as a new sign at the entrance of the land from the Magic Kingdom hub.

According to WDWNT, construcion of a new Wreck it Ralph themed attraction will begin shortly and is set to be completed and open in 2022.


Some great news from Disney as Walt Disney World continues to undergo major renovations to update the parks.
