23The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health has revealed the the fire at Disneyland on the evening of February 6 was caused by a consturction generator.

Flames could be seen behind the Disneyland Firehouse and the Emporium gift shop just after 6 p.m. and were quickly extinguished by Disneyland’s fire department and Anaheim Fire & Rescue.

The OC Register reported that “The fire was related to a generator supplying power to a building,” California Division of Occupational Safety and Health spokesperson Frank Polizzi said.

Disneyland officials have confirmed that no guests or castmembers were injured by the fire and no buildings were damaged.

Although directly following the fire, Adventureland was closed to guests and remained so for the rest of the evening, the land was reopened the next morning.
