When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened phase 2, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the attraction was opened with no Fast Pass availability and no lines. That’s right. Guests don’t wait in a traditional line for this attraction, instead, guests are able to join boarding groups when they enter the park.

Until now, when guests were notified that there boarding group had been called, guests have two hours to return to the park and ride the attraction.

1Guests were notified via digital signs located throughout the park or via the My Disney Experience app which boarding group the attraction was on so that they could time their return to the park or attraction. When the attraction opened on both coasts, guests were given a two hour window to return.

For certain boarding groups, particularly following extended downtimes of the attraction, one-hour return times have been posted instead of the two hour times.

When watching the boarding groups and especially when your boarding group is called, be mindful of the return time window so that you are sure to get to ride on the out of this galaxy attraction.
