37The time has come. Finally, Rise of the Resistance is opening at Disneyland. The attraction, the most anticipated and technologically advanced attraction ever, according to Disney, has been open since December 5 at Walt Disney World. Well, now it’s Disneyland’s turn.

But, Disney can’t just open an attraction. There has to be fanfare and food… always food.

January 17, 2020, Rise of the Resistance opens at Disneyland and with it comes new food and drink items as well as new merchandise as well.

Black Spire Hot Chocolte topped with a bright purple whipped cream debuts at both Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo and Ronto Roasters.


We also have a new frosty treat coming to the Milk Stand. The Toydaria Swirl is a sweet and salty combinationn of Green Milk and swirls of savory chili lime seasoning and mango jelly.


The new Galma Garlic Puffed Cheese Chips (yum) are landing on Batuu tomorrow as well. These crispy savory treats can be dound throughout Black Spire Outpost.


Since you are headed Galaxy’s Edge, be sure to check out the Rise of the Resistance inspired merchandise that debuts January 17 as well. The new collection features shirts, a tumbler, a cap and an exclusive trading pin.
