32In June 2019, Disney announced that a new dining location was coming to the American pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. The Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts and Barbecue (oy with the long names again Disney) is replacing the Liberty Inn and will open in early 2020.

The menu will feature a “modern barbecue smokehouse” and will be preparing fine barbecue cuisine adjacent to the American pavilion promenade.

Guests can enjoy the sites and sounds of Epcot and the World Showcase and people watch with a bite of BBQ and a cold draft beer.

Disney recently announced that the restaurant would be opening this winter and that it takes its name from Sam Eagle, from The Muppets. Sam Eagle will host a centennial cook-off – a salute to all cook-offs… but mostly barbecue. We love when characters are included in restaurants so this should be a fun detail.

Here’s a look at the entire Regal Eagle Menu!
