44On the evening of January 4, Disney announced via signage around Pop Century Resort that as of January 5, bus service to and from Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot would be limited to one bus per hour and that guests were encouraged to utilize the Disney Skyliner for transportation to and from those parks.

4The Disney Skyliner opened to the public in September and has been popular with many guests despite mechanical issues that have occurred several times since opening.

The Disney Skyliner A state-of-the-art gondola system will allow seamless connection from Disney’s Hollywood Studios and International Gateway at Epcot to the following Walt Disney World Resort hotels: Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and the brand new, Disney’s Riviera Resort.

1Traveling at speeds of approximately 11 mph, guests will be moving swiftly to their destination. On average, the typical ride on this magical mode of transportation will last between five and 15 minutes. Those with a fear of heights should take heed that the gondolas will travel at heights ranging from fifteen feet to sixty feet in the air.

Thank you for stopping by and for the love of the mouse, never forget, that it all started with a mouse.
