New Year’s Eve is one of the most magical and busiest days in Walt Disney World each year. Several parks, especially Magic Kingdom, typcally reach phased capacity early and guests start lining up for the fireworks around 2 or 3 p.m. It’s busy.
Can’t make it to the parks or don’t want to get your blood pressure up that high maneuvering through throngs of people? Disney Parks Blog will live stream the NYE spectacular “Fantasy in the Sky” on New Year’s Eve starting at 11:45. event.
If you are headed to the parks, here is what you can expect to end the decade from the most magical place on earth straight from Disney Parks Blog.
Magic Kingdom Park will light up the night on December 30 and 31 with “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks, plus celebration dance parties in Frontierland and Tomorrowland. If you’re not able to join us, we will LIVE stream “Fantasy in the Sky” Fireworks from Magic Kingdom Park on December 31 – right here on the Disney Parks Blog.
Also, Epcot will celebrate the New Year as it moves around World Showcase. Each international pavilion will offer a festive announcement when the clock strikes midnight in their country, and guests can enjoy live music at the America Gardens Theatre. And when the clock strikes midnight (Eastern), guests can gather around World Showcase to catch “Epcot Forever,” plus a special countdown to 2020.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also celebrate starting at 7 p.m. on December 31 with a dance party at Center Stage. Then, you can watch “Wonderful World of Animation” at 6:05 p.m., “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” at 6:30 p.m., and “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” just after midnight.
And at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests can celebrate with specially-themed food and beverage. The park will also stay open until midnight and include a special countdown-to-midnight on the Tree of Life.
