Depending on where your home resort is for Disney Vacation Club, you could be the recipient of good or not so good news.
Disney Vacation Club has announced their annual dues for their DVC properties for 2020. Three resorts will see increases of less than 1%, seven properties will see increases higher than 5%.
What are DVC dues? Each year, owners in Disney Vacation Club, the timeshare associated with The Walt Disney Company, must pay annual dues for the property or properties that they own in. These dues cover maintenance and operating costs associated with each resort.
Here is how the 2020 dues breakdown. Important to note that these numbers are per point.
|Resort||2019 Dues||2020 Dues||Increase|
|Animal Kingdom Villas||$7.4355||$7.6685||+3.13%|
|Bay Lake Tower||$6.3994||$6.5770||+2.78%|
|Beach Club Villas||$6.9415||$7.0634||+1.76%|
|Copper Creek Villas||$7.4256||$7.4471||+0.29%|
|Old Key West||$7.2289||$7.8363||+8.40%|
The smallest increases are at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and Disney’s Riviera Resort, the newest additions to the DVC lineup. Interestingly enough, one of the largest increases is at Boulder Ridge, also part of Wilderness Lodge.
Other large increases are at Hilton Head, Vero Beach, and Old Key West. Most likely, due to damage suffered from hurricanes, Hilton Head and Very Beach are seeing the largest increases in dues.
Thank you for stopping by and for the love of the mouse, never forget, that it all started with a mouse.
