There’s a new smokehouse coming to town. If you are all about that lip smacking BBQ, this winter will bring a new stop to your Disney foodie itinerary in the Regal Eagle Smokhouse: Craft Drafts and Barbecue (enough with the crazy long names Disney) is currently under construction in the American Pavilion in Epcot and Disney has announced that it will open this winter.
This will be a new fast-casual experience that offers BBQ offerings from all over this great country and you can wash them down with some craft brews.
There will be a variety of sandwiches, tasty platters and even a plant based option if that is what tickles your tastebuds.
From a Texas Beef Brisket sandwich to a South Carolina smoked sausage with a tangy mustard based sauce and caramelized onions, there is something for every BBQ lover.
What other kinds of BBQ options is this new restaurant serving up?
Kansas City smoked chicken, Memphis dry-run pork ribs, North Carolina chopped smoked port and a vegan BBQ jackfruit on vegan garlic toast.
If you want to pair your BBQ with a bit of greenery grab the Power Greens salad served with pulled chicken and a citrus twist.
It’s all about that sauce though am I right? Get your sauce on with lots of varieties including a spicy mop sauce, sweet BBQ, tangy mustard, and a vinegar-based sauce.
The side items include your classic barbecue complements like french fries, beer-battered onion rings, mac and cheese, baked beans with burnt ends, house-made pickles, and creamy slaw.
Finish your meal with a banana pudding or a campfire s’mores brownie and for a lighter option a cup of fresh, juicy watermelon garnished with fresh mint.
Thank you for stopping by and for the love of the mouse, never forget, that it all started with a mouse.
