Today, we are going to do a full face look with some new products I am loving and we are going to try out the one of the Huda Beauty Obsessions Mini Palettes, Mauve in part 2 so come for the full face love, stay tuned for the review of a new Huda Beauty Palette.
We are going to use a mix of high end and drugstore products and there are some awesome products that are about to be highlighted to let’s jump right in.
First up, primer. I recently purchased the Becca Priming Filter Face Primer and I’m obsessed. This primer is hands down my new favorite go-to primer. It goes on incredibly smooth, it is pore minimizing and really enhances the products that you put on top of it to create a smooth and even canvas. I cannot recommend this primer highly enough.
Next up, concealer. I have a wide variety of favorite concealers. I only use concealer on my underears and on the my eye lids but those are pretty crucial areas and I tend to switch up my concealer’s quite frequently depending on other products that I am using. For this look, I went with the Wet N Wild Photo Focus Concealer. This is truly a great product, I reach for this a lot and it is a steal at right around $5.00.
As many of you know, I don’t wear full coverage. Ever. I don’t own a full coverage face product. I wanted to try out a new tinted moisturizer and went back and forth on several products. I finally decided on the Sephora brand Matte Perfection Tinted Moisturizer. This is a great product at a mid-range price at $18.00.
I have been using this product, along with my other faves for about three weeks now and it’s awesome. It is light coverage, obvously, it is only a tinted moisturizer but it is smooth and light and goes on evenly and is a really awesome product. If you are looking for something with a light coverage that is perfect for everyday without caking or looking plastered on the face, this could be a great option for me; I am a big fan.
I have done several posts using this next product and I will probably do several more. One of my go-to products when I use a liquid face product is the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder. I only use a setting powder when I use liquid products but I love this one. It sets my look perfectly and goes on with a luxurious feel and it is one of my favorite products.
I use my favorite bronzer, Too Faced Bronzed Peach Toasted Peach Bronzer mostly as a contour for my cheeks and nose and that is exactly what I did for this look and what I do most every day that I contour. For my contour I line my cheek bones with a thicker contour brush and the I take it along the outside of my nose to contour that to make it slimmer and more defined.
For blush, I actually picked up this fun stacked blush on Amazon and I think it’s great. It is perfectly pigmented for me and allows me to switch up my color based on what type of palette I am going for that day.
This stack is from a company that I have purchased several eyeshadow dupes for in the past and I think it’s a great hidden gem. You can snag this UCanBe 5 Color Blusher Powder stack for just $11.89.
Last but not least for part one of this blog post, we have the hightlight. Y’all. I signed up for Ipsy Glam Bag so that I could see what this noise was about and in one of my bags, I got the most glam, blinding, blingy highlight palette ever and I’m obsessed.
Ofra is the creme de la creme for a number of cosmetics products and to receive it in my Ipsy Glam Bag was amazing. This Madison Miller Miller Squad Midi Palette was an amazing surprise in my Ipsy Glam Bag. This baby retails for $35.00 and is worth every single penny. I love the shine and the shimmer and the magic of this palette for sure.
That is it for the first part of this post. Stay tuned for part 2! The eye look! The piece de resistance! I am loving every single one of these products right now and would recommend each and every one. Be sure to check them out!
