The holidays are coming. Since we have been celebrating Halloween and fall in Disney since the beginning of August, naturally we have tired of it and are full-on ready for Christmas to come to Disney!
According to WDWNT Disney has already released several holiday merchandise options for the 2019 holiday season and we are 100% here for all of it! Take all of our money Disney! There are also several items that we know are coming from Disney’s preview earlier this year of the holiday merchandise.
Disney has taken spirit jerseys to a whole new level in 2019 with several options to choose from and if you missed our holiday headwear blog post highlighting some of the amazing ears and hats coming to Disney this holly jolly season, be sure to check that out HERE! We will also link it at the end of this blog post.
Let’s jump right into more of the amazingly festive gear coming to Disney parks and shopDisney this holiday season!
We expect even more merry gear to be released as we inch closer to Christmas at the most magical place on earth.
The item we were most anticipating and couldn’t be more excited about is this red spirit jersey that has lettering that resembles Christmas cookies that we were instantly in love with. The entire lower half of the spirit jersey is donned with awesome festive cheer like Mickey waffles, Santa Mickey, candy canes and more.
There are matching leggings to go with this one as well! Yes! And a Loungefly backpack to go with the leggings! Talk about themed!
We also know that there will be an exclusive spirit jersey that will only be available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
There will be a candy cane spirit jersey coming as well! This is a black jersey with a Mickey silhouette on the front in candy cane stripes. The lettering across the back spelling out Walt Disney World (or Disneyland) is in the same candy cane writing.
Disney is all about the buffalo plaid this season and buffalo plaid is life so we are on board with this trend. To go along with your buffalo plaid and sherpa lined ears or hat, you can find a black spirit jersey with large and we mean large buffalo plaid letters across the back that spell out Walt Disney World (and we also assume this trend will make its way to Disneyland as well).
A red spirit jersey with an adorable Mickey Mouse in a Santa hat on the front and a cute black, green and red plaid patterns all over the lower half of the jersey is also available. This jersey says “Merry Christmas” in puffy green writing on the back.
We have spotted a hybrid spirit jersey sweater as well. This white sweater resembles a spirit jersey with red and green Mickey heads throughout and red and white stripes across the top with a green Mickey silhouette and Happy Holidays spelled out on the back in green letters.
A bright blue spirit jersey is joining the ranks too. This spirit jersey has our favorite Chipmunks Chip and Dale hanging onto Christmas lights and festive ornaments all throughout the bottom of the jersey and larger versions of the trouble makers on the back with the words “Nuts About The Holidays” in white. This is a special Epcot International Festival of the Holidays spirit jersey!
Disney is getting in on the “ugly sweater” trend and will even be releasing some light up ones that will make your trip that much more magical!
It wouldn’t be an event without Magic Bands and Disney Food Blog gave a sneak peak of these awesome Magic Bands coming to the parks as well. One holiday themed, one for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and one for the Festival of the Holidays. Too cute!
There are even more festive items coming so be on the lookout at Shop Disney and in the parks. We can’t wait! Check out that headwear blog HERE!
Thank you for stopping by and for the love of the mouse, never forget that it all started with a mouse.
