Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties is one of the most popular events to take place at Walt Disney World each year. This year, Disney is bringing some all new not-so-scary events and entertainment to this extra ticketed event that turns Disney’s Magic Kingdom into a not-so-haunted but oh-so-fun magical experience.

The dates for this year’s party have already been released and tickets are on sale. The first party will take place on August 17, 2018 and the last party will occur on October 31, 2018.

31Important to note is that this is an extra ticketed event. In order to get in, you  must purchase the special ticket for this event. Entry is not for the entire day. If you are not an annual passholder or do not have a park ticket for that day, you will be able to enter Magic Kingdom at 4 pm.

Here are the dates for the 2019 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party:

  • August 17, 24, 28, 31
  • September 3, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
  • October 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31

58As we reported previously, a new nighttime spectacular will light up the sky and Cinderella Castle and delight Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party guests beginning this year.

Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas will host the new castle projection and fireworks show that will take center stage on select nights when Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is taking place.

According to Disney Parks Blog, “this all-new nighttime extravaganza, with state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks filling the sky above Magic Kingdom Park.”

Jack and his faithful ghost pup Zero will be joined by our favorite Disney pals, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy and the fearless group will find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house. Their journey takes them from one room of the house to another, encountering dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts some of our favorite Disney villains.

From this description, we are getting major Disney’s Halloween Treat vibes which was and remains to this day one of my favorite Disney movies! When I was growing up, every Halloween Disney would air this classic combination of scenes from attractions and classic films and I have fingers crossed that this new show will include some of my favorite scenes and hopefully yours as well from this Disney classic treat!

29In 2018, Disney did Halloween themed overlays for the party for Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain and the Tea Cups and they have confirmed that “Several attractions across the park receive special enhancements just for the Halloween party!”

Of course the trick or treat trails are back and your favorite characters like Pooh and Friends, Jack and Sally, The Seven Dwarfs, Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Goofy and more will be back in their Halloween best!

39The Boo to You Parade is back again and be sure to get their early so you don’t miss the Headless Horseman as he kicks off this spooky, but not-so-spooky parade!

From treats, meets, dance parties, fireworks and so much more this is one party you don’t want to miss! Be sure to get your tickets early so you don’t miss out because several of these events will indeed sell out!

Thank you for stopping by and for the love of the mouse, never forget, that it all started with a mouse.
