Ahead of the film, Disney is releasing a host of Lion King themed merchandise that has roared into Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and also other locations throughout Walt Disney World and Disney Springs. For the largest selection of Lion King merchandise be sure to head to Animal Kingdom. Several shirts for adults and kids have debuted that include Simba, Nala and more.
New Funko Pops have also launched highlighting many favorites from the cast of characters including, Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Pumba and Timon.
Two new Alex and Ani bracelets are now available. A silver bangle featuring the drawing of Simba that Rafiki draws on the cave wall and a gold bracelet featuring a colorful charm of Simba, Pumpa and Timon during “Hakuna Matata”.
There is also a new Magic Band that will release on the film’s opening day July 19 that will only be available at certain location in Disney Parks. The band is a vibrant yellow with orange accents.
Not so brand new Lion King themed gear has already hit the stores and the Shop Disney website. There is a black spirit jersey with vivid yellow and orange Lion King theming on the front and back of the shirt.
There are coffee mugs, a new Simba and Rafiki Magic Band that is now available online and in parks and a Lion King themed red and white flannel shirt as well.
The plushes we mentioned in a previous post are also available online and in parks and a portion of sales goes to Disney conservation efforts.
A new clutch that looks like an original Lion King VHS is adorable and can be found in parks and online.
Be on the lookout for even more Lion King themed merchandise as the film draws closer and be sure to pre-order your tickets for this monumental re-make. Hakuna Matata!
