Spring Cleaning: My Holy Grail Cleaning Products

Winter is over, spring is springing (in some places it has sprung, in Colorado, we are still on the fence). With spring comes the season of renewal and the need to get things spic and span squeaky clean. I love to clean. I actually love to have our house in order, I despise clutter and I refuse to have people come to my house when it is not clean. I am Type A and a control freak and that’s just how it is.

48However, I also run a blog and have a full-time job and workout twice a day so cleaning is never at the tip top of the priority list it seems. We all have a lot going on, and even for those of us who enjoy cleaning, there are other ways most of us would rather spend our time.

49I have several projects coming up this spring that I really want to get done. I need to get our vlog room, which is also my craft room cleaned up (again) and I need to get our fourth bedroom picked up and de-cluttered. I want to get all of our drawers cleaned out and do yet another purge of our shirts and I want to get our carpets stretched and professionally cleaned.

Those are all of the projects I have in the queue. Hoping to get them all checked off by June 1.

50Today though, we are going to go through all of my amazing cleaning products that I cannot live without. I hope that you get some amazing ideas to add to your cleaning caddie.

We have four bathrooms and I keep cleaning caddies in our downstairs powder room, under the sink in our kitchen, in our master bathroom and in one of our upstairs guest bathrooms.

These are my favorite cleaners that I always keep on hand and am constantly burning through.

All purpose cleaner:

51Mrs. Meyer’s Multi-Surface Cleaner is not only a great everyday cleaner but comes in a variety of amazing scents, even seasonal scents. For the spring, I am loving Peony, Geranium and Lilac and if you are looking for a scent that is not as floral I absolutely love the Basil scent.

52Caldrea Countertop Spray a go to but not an everyday item for me. I love the scents and that it does work well to clean counters including marble, tile and bathroom surfaces. At $10.00 a pop, I can’t justify this for everyday but it’s my go to when I want to deep clean a room, especially a bathroom. Also, this reminds me of the cleaning supplies used at the Disney resorts; I don’t know why but it does!

53Method Daily Granite Cleaner for those post meal prep days when your kitchen needs a deep scrub.

55Method Stainless Steel Polish leaves all of our stainless steel appliances shiny and streak free. I have tried a lot of stainless steel cleaners and this one is reasonably priced and does the job!

56Method Daily Shower Cleaner is one of my can’t live without products. I absolutely love and stand by this cleaner. We have a shower that is glass on three sides and we typically have to squeegee our shower after every use to keep the water spots away. Not only that but it leaves your shower smelling like a spa with its incredible eucalyptus mint scent. If you only try one product from this list, try this one!

56Mrs. Meyer’s Toilet Bowl Cleaner because let’s be real, no one really wants to clean the toilet it’s not fun, it’s not something I wake up and am like, priority one, clean toilet but it sure is satisfying to have a shiny toilet bowl and the scent of this one is not chemically and does not make me gag. I’m not going to lie, I love the smell of this cleaner; I’m not sniffing the bowl or anything, but it makes the process a little more enjoyable.

57These are my can’t live without, go to, holy grail cleaning products to give you a fresh boost and get you excited for your spring cleaning endeavors. Call me a nerd but I love trying new household cleaners and I love my house smelling fresh and being clean. With two seventy pound dogs who like to go WWE Wrestlemania in the backyard on a daily basis and bring the fruits of their labor (lots of grass and dirt) into my house, it sure doesn’t stay clean long but it’s fun while it lasts!

Happy spring cleaning!

Thank you for stopping by and for the love of the mouse, never forget, that it all started with a mouse.
