For The Love of The Mouse

Colorado Couple Living in Walt Disney's World and Beyond!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Okay, maybe that is taking it a bit far. But, in true Disney fashion, the most magical place on earth is already looking forward to the most magical time of the year. Christmas! Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are on sale with tickets purchased in advance starting at $99 for select nights.

8Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place from 7:00 PM to midnight on the following dates in 2019:

  • November: 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22 and 24
  • December: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20 and 22

The party officially gets underway at 7pm and runs until midnight but guests can enter the Magic Kingdom starting at 4pm with a valid party ticket.

3Upon entry, guests receive a wristband, your visible ticket to the party that allows you to partake in rides and enter certain areas of the park. Each member of your party must have a valid wristband or you will be politely escorted out of the park beginning at 7 pm.

Tickets vary by date and range from $99-139 a night for adults, up from last year’s $95-$125. In order to attend the party, guests must purchase the party ticket, regular park admission will not allow you into the park for this extra ticketed event.

4After party start time, Disney will start serving complimentary holiday treats of cookies, candy, and drinks at several locations throughout the park. Treats include snow cones, sugar cookies, peppermint chip cookies, hot cocoa and cider. These can be found by following the party map or locating the giant blow-up candy canes.

The party also is the only place to see Disney’s Christmas parade before the Christmas crowds descend on Disney World. Other entertainment includes “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” on the Castle Forecourt Stage, Elsa’s “A Frozen Holiday Wish” and the Holiday Wishes fireworks show.

5Don’t forget character meet and greet’s. Unique characters including the Seven Dwarfs and Jack and Sally are available but get in line early because the lines can stretch for several hours. Donald is meeting with Scrooge McDuck, Minnie and Daisy are in their holiday best, Pooh and friends have their adorable scarves on and more.

There is no event quite like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party to kick off your holiday season.
