Disney will be holding an investor presentation this Thursday, April 11, where rumor has it, they will announce plans for the streaming platform Disney+.
Disney+, the Disney streaming service is going to be taken over by Monsters! That’s right. “Monsters at Work”, an animated series is set six months after the original movie ended.
This exciting series will feature the entire original voice cast, including John Goodman as Sulley, and Billy Crystal as Mike Wazowski, John Ratzenberger as the Yeti, Jennifer Tilly as Celia and Bob Peterson as Roz and her twin sister Roze (new character).
New characters will join the original beloved monsters for the new animated series. Tylor Tuskmon, voiced by Ben Feldman, is a young mechanic who is chomping at the bit at the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team (MIFT). He has big dreams of working his way up to the Laugh Floor to work alongside his idols Mike and Sulley.
Other newcomers include Henry Winkler as Fritz, the scatterbrained boss; Lucas Neff as Duncan, an unscrupulous plumber; Alanna Ubach as Cutter, the Hermoine Granger of the group; Stephen Stanton as Smitty and Needleman, the clumsy custodial duo, and Aisha Tyler as Tylor’s mom Millie Tuskmon.
Big names and big things are on the horizon for our favorite Monsters and also for Disney+. Bobs Gannaway, the producer of Monsters at Work was also the producer on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Disney is sinking its teeth into some big name talent for this series. We can’t wait to watch!
Thank you for stopping by and for the love of the mouse, never forget, that it all started with a mouse.
