Hey there Disney family, welcome to another blog post! This is going to be a shorter post but, as this blog posts, I am currently HOME! That’s right, I am currently in Walt Disney World when this blog will go up so I thought it only fitting that I share with you all of the amazing trips home that are coming up for, For The Love Of The Mouse.
I will start by saying, every time I take a selfie or post a picture on our story or something along those lines, my husband makes the very loud announcement that we are “behind the scenes with the for the love of the mouse girl!.” It’s awesome (insert sarcastic face here).
He also does it when we are in Disney World. So, on that note, if you see us in Disney World, please be sure to say hi! It’s so amazing that we have people who know us and appreciate our posts because I love doing the blogs and researching for them and coming up with what do next and we love our Instagram Disney family and we really appreciate those following For Love of The Mouse on YouTube as we dip our feet into vlogging!
So, what’s on the horizon for For The Love of The Mouse? Well, I’m so glad you asked! As I mentioned, I am currently in Disney World! My mom and I decided to take a trip out for Flower and Garden Festival. We are so excited! My mom has not been to Disney for about six years so this will be a real treat!
On this trip, I will be vlogging from the parks! This is a first for us so I’m really excited about it and hope that I remember to turn on the microphone…and the camera itself. So be sure to check out our vlogs and blogs that will come from this trip!
Hubby and I will be heading back to Walt Disney World for his birthday in May. That means that will be back for yet another trip during Flower and Garden. This will hubby’s first time at Flower and Garden so we are really excited about that! This will also be one of our warmer trips most likely. May can get pretty toasty in Orlando with the average temperature hovering around 88 degrees for the high. We will be packing extra water in the back pack for this!
Now, after that we have a possible trip. A tentative that we have not pulled the trigger on yet! We are going back and forth about going to Orlando for June 30 and the opening of Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. If we did this trip, it would be a quick weekend trip. We would leave on a Friday and return late on a Sunday. The main point of this trip would be to be there for the opening of Toy Story Land.
We both really want to go and be there for this historic opening but if you follow our other blogs you know, we don’t love big crowds and this will be a big crowd. A very big crowd. So, we’re on the fence here. We go back and forth about staying at a resort or using points to stay at Swan or Dolphin and then we go back and forth about getting up hours before the sun to be at rope drop for Hollywood Studios on June 30.
Our next for sure trip will be in September. Be sure to check out our blog post about this trip called Planning Disney With Friends. We will be heading to Food and Wine Festival with a couple of our good friends and we are stoked! This will be a great trip for a great festival and you better believe I am already on custom shirt duty and I am on the hunt for or shirts for this trip.
For this trip, we will be in Disney for three full days and two half days. We are so excited to share our love of Disney with this great couple and can’t wait to share this great time of year with them. This will include, Food and Wine Festival so be sure to check out Part 1 , Part 2, and Part 3 of our series on this unbelievable festival; we will also most likely head to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, the amazing fall decor all around Disney, Pandora and Animal Kingdom and of course Hollywood Studios!
Our last trip that we have planned so far for 2018 is our annual Christmas trip (also my Birthday trip) in early December. This will be a tried and true favorite for us with a twist. We will be doing our very first land and sea adventure. Three days at Walt Disney World and of course one night at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and then we will be heading out on the Disney Dream for our very first three day cruise on the Disney Cruise Line.
That’s it! Four for sure countdowns including the one that I am currently on and one maybe countdown. We are also looking to 2019 and I will be registering for the Princess Half Marathon weekend and we will be heading to Disney that weekend for sure!
Whew. What a time to be alive! So many trips to Disney planned and of course, I continue to closely monitor the job openings at the happiest place on earth for my chosen field. We really hope that you continue to follow along on our adventures as we continue to share them with you.
We love to hear from our readers and our Disney family on how we can improve either here on the blog, on Instagram or on YouTube. Thank you for joining us and we hope that you will let us know what you want to learn about, what you would like us to post about on any of our platforms and how we can better help you plan your next trip to Disney!
We’ll see ya’ real soon Disney family and for the love of the mouse, never forget, that it all started with a mouse.
