For The Love of The Mouse

Colorado Couple Living in Walt Disney's World and Beyond!

Happy New Year Disney family! We want to ring in 2018 by taking a look back at our favorite Disney memories of 2017.

It’s  been a great year for For the Love of the Mouse! So let’s jump right in!

251First of all, we became annual passholders! What! If you had asked me, even a year ago, if we would ever be annual passholders while living in Colorado, I would have laughed. But, here we are! So, what does this mean? More trips to Disney of course! We already have two trips together and my mom and I also have a trip planned for 2018. I can only imagine that there will be a few 60 hour trips included in this as well so be sure to stay tuned for that!

254Next up! Our first stay at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! What a treat that was. We stayed at our second deluxe resort and finally took the time to enjoy our resort and it was glorious. We are looking forward to more relaxing trips in the future and made some incredible memories.

176Who can forget that in 2017, we started For the Love of the Mouse! What a great trip this has been! From starting our blog and our Instagram and now dipping our toes into the vlog world as well. What an incredible adventure 2017 has been and we are beyond excited to see what 2018 brings For the Love of the Mouse! Stay tuned!

257We had our first quick trip! That was a whirlwind, exhausting adventure. We had a 60 hours of Disney trip where we experienced Food and Wine Festival, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and our first Pandora experience. 60 hours, 3 parks, 3 rope drops and 2 closing of the parks. Whew.

259Honeymoon in Disney! First, we got married, which was awesome! We married at a beautiful venue in Colorado and where else would we want to celebrate but Walt Disney World. Our December trip was my birthday/our honeymoon trip. An amazing seven day excursion.

266Our first relaxing Disney trip. This might not sound like a milestone but it really was. We were able to take a breath, we did some amazing resort hopping and saw a side of Disney we had never explored. I have to say, it might have been one of my favorite days in Disney.

255I have to of course include hubby in this. So I just asked him what his favorite Disney memory of 2017 was and he said. “When we first walked into the Grand Floridian. It was a jaw dropping experience and it opitimized everything that I have ever envisioned for Christmas.”

262One more? I have to say that one of my favorite Disney memories of 2017 was spending the day resort hopping and taking the monorail, boats and minnie vans all over the resorts and experiencing  a side of Disney we have never taken the time to explore.

258Okay, one more. I love Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It doesn’t matter if it is the first time or the twentieth time. I love it and it is always an incredible memory.

Well, that’s it for this post! Thank you so much for stopping by and we hope to see ya’ real soon! We have had so many amazing adventures in 2017 and 2018 is shaping up to be just as incredible. See you next time Disney family and for the love of the mouse, never forget, that it all started with a mouse.
